Note: Business Registration Certificate can be renewed at any time before the expiry registration date and up to 12 months after the registration expiry date.

New business registration fee

1. Registration of sole proprietorship or partnership using trade name : RM60.00 per year

2. Registration of sole proprietorship using name per NRIC : RM30.00 per year

3. Registration of branch (if any) : RM5.00 every branch

4. Business information printout : RM10.00

Applicant should login to EzBiz click 'My Business Services' menu and select 'Renewal by Owner' under 'Renewal Service' submenu to register an application for business renewal.

Documents required for business termination

1. Business Registration Certificate (latest)

2. Death certificate (original document and certified copy) if the termination is due to death of the owner

3. Court order (original document and certified copy) in case of termination by court order

4. Related documents(original document and certified copy) if the owner goes bankrupt

Steps to discard transaction before making payment

1. Login to EzBiz

2. Click 'My Business Services' menu

3. Click 'Registration Status/History' under 'Business Registration' submenu

4. Go to 'Draft' and click on 'Action' icon to discard the transaction

Steps to reply query application for new business registration

1. Login to EzBiz portal.

2. Click 'My Business Services' menu

3. Click 'Registration Status/History' under 'Business Registration' submenu

4. Click 'Query' tab

5. Click 'Action' icon for the related application

6. Reply the query as instructed in 'Query Reason'

7. Tick (✓) in the declaration check box

8. Click 'Re-submit Application'
