Procedures for incorporating a Company Limited By Guarantee with the word "Berhad" or "Bhd"

The procedures for incorporating a Company Limited By Guarantee (CLBG) with the word "Berhad" or "Bhd" under Section 45 Companies Act 2016 are:

1. Applicant should make an application at MyCoID and click 'Application for Reservation of Name - Optional' menu to apply for reservation of name.

2. Next, applicant should submit Section 45 Lodgement of Application by CLBG for Registrar’s approval (Appendix B) with supporting documents according to Checklist 2 to SSM counter.

Fee :

1. Name reservation : RM 50.00
2. Registrar's approval for the use of word "Berhad" or "Bhd" : RM 200.00
3. Registration of CLBG : RM 3000.00

Note :

1. The biodata, qualification and experience in charitable activities for each proposed director and promoter has to be prepared according to format in Example 3 .
2. An estimated/forecast income and expenditure for a period of two years within the establishment of the CLBG has to be prepared according to format in Example 4 .
