Registration of a Foreign Company

The registration of a Foreign Company in Malaysia is as follows:

1. Applicant should login to MyCoID, click 'Application for Reservation of Name - Optional' menu to apply for a company name with a fee of RM 50.00.


2. Upon approval of name reservation application applicant must submit the following documents within 30 days to SSM counter:
1. A copy of the application and reservation for availability of names under Section 27(1)(4) Companies Act 2016.
2. A copy of the email for the approval notification of the reservation of name.
3. Form - Section 562 Application for Registration of Foreign Company.
4. A certified copy of the certificate of incorporation or registration of foreign company.
5. A certified copy of Memorandum and Articles or other instrument defining its constitution, if available.
6. Memorandum or Power of Attorney Appointment of Agent.
7. Statement by Agent of Foreign Company.
8. Affidavit Verifying Memorandum of Appointment.
