Procedures for changing a company name for a Foreign Company

Procedures for changing a company name are as follows :

1. Applicant should login to MyCoID, click 'Application for Reservation of Name - Optional' menu to apply for a company name with a fee of RM 50.00.


2. Upon approval of name reservation application, applicant must submit the following documents within 30 days to SSM counter:
1. A copy of the application and reservation for availability of names under Section 27(1)(4) Companies Act 2016
2. A copy of the email for the approval notification of the reservation of name
3. Form - Section 567(1) - Particulars of Change or Alteration Relating to Foreign Company
4. A certified copy of the certificate of change of name from its origin country
5. Fee : RM 250.00
